Join us on Saturday, May 30, 2026, for the second annual Jodie Schmahl-Olson Memorial 5K in the beautiful downtown Two Harbors, Minnesota. This heartfelt event honors the memory of Jodie Schmahl-Olson, whose life was tragically cut short by Glioblastoma brain cancer just before her 35th birthday in 2015. Participants of all ages are invited to walk or run the 5K course, fostering a spirit of community and support for families battling Glioblastoma.
With proceeds benefiting the Glioblastoma Foundation, this event aims to raise vital funds for research and support. While the race will not be timed, a race clock will be available at the finish line. As a token of appreciation, all registered participants will receive a commemorative water bottle, a sticker, and a drink ticket for the local Castle Danger Brewery. In honor of one of the best humans who ever lived, whose life was tragically cut short a week before her 35th birthday in 2015, please join us for the second annual Jodie Schmahl-Olson Memorial 5K! Jodie passed away on May 24, 2015, after a very short but courageous fight against Glioblastoma brain cancer. The Jodie Schmahl-Olson Memorial 5K is held in downtown Two Harbors, MN, Jodie's hometown. Event proceeds will go to the Glioblastoma Foundation to help research and support for other families fighting the fight against Glioblastoma. This event is a run/walk. This event is non-chipped and no official times will be recorded... however, there WILL be a race clock at the finish line. Our main goal is to raise as much money as possible for the Glioblastoma Foundation.
