If you want to do a 5k, you sure can...But we all know that is "Just The Tip" of the crazy miles y'all are capable of!!!

What? 16 Hour Run/Walk/Crawl

When? 09/26/26 5am to 9pm 09/26/26

Where? Connor Battlefield State Historic Site
Ranchester, WY

Why? Because apparently ultras are hard to get in Wyoming too!

We heard you begging for this state so we found a really cool place to have this! If you are going from Northwest Series to CON, it is on your way, and a nice break in the driving to Cheyanne! If you are coming in for this one, fly to Billings...grab a car...and just a short drive to Ranchester, WY!
This is a nice little park surrounded by the Tongue River (Powder River). There are 20-ish camp sites that are first come, first serve. They have vault toilets (His and Hers!!!) and a water spigot. There is NO ELECTRICITY. We will be walking .5 mile out and backs around the campground. This is crazy flat, dirt and gravel roads, at an elevation of 3770 feet. Y'all this is a super nice place! The town is just a little one with a population just over 1K but it is just like 15 minutes north of Sheridan! There are plenty of hotel options in Sheridan or there is a little hotel there called the Ranchester Western Hotel if you prefer not to drive a smidge.
We have a cap of 50 with a smidge of wiggle room if needed.
Official start time at 5am on 09/26/26 however...you can start any time you want to after the official 5am start! If you only want to do 10 hours and want to start at 11am thats just ducky with us!
We count miles so rack up as many or as few as you want to...you do you boo boo!!!
Bling? Sure...why not? Maybe a coin or a Koozie..not sure? Wont be fabulous though.
Shirts? If you want one we can get you hooked up. We know a gal!
Some of the nasty, dark, and dirty little details.
-This is a no-frill, simple little race because apparently Wyoming Ultra races are hard to get.
-Race proceeds after expenses will be given to the host city or other charitable organization. (hence the un-fabulous bling!)
-We will have an aid station with fluids and some sustenance. If you want or need special shit, bring it, we arent caterers.
-Course is 1 mile .5 out and back The sound of the river is amazing, there is a rope swing if you are adventurous and a suspended bridge to walk across the Tongue!
-This is in Wyoming...in September! That means perfect weather or 80 degrees or snow or 50mph winds...why not? The park sits in a pretty protected area with well established trees so that should help! I have been assured the town folks will be curious and out and about to check us out, as well as all sorts of critters, crawly and 4 legged. Be prepared!
-In case you didnt read it in the last sentence...BE PREPARED as anything is possible during this time frame!
