Organiser's Description

Please join us on SATURDAY MORNING, MAY 9, for the 2026 KICK FOR KENYA 5K!

RUN OR WALK FOR A CAUSE - proceeds will be used to help fund planning and execution of community development training and projects in rural eastern Kenya in partnership with Kenya Kids (US-based nonprofit), the Touch Africa Child Education Programme (TACEP, a Kenyan NGO), and other local Kenyan community partners. Funds raised will be invested where needed most, in particular to provide educational opportunities, improve public health, and address food and water insecurity. Our Kenyan partners' long-term vision includes construction and development of a community center with dedicated space for field staff offices, tutoring and counseling services, animal husbandry and agricultural demonstration plots, and hosting speakers/conferences for educational instruction and vocational training, as well as on-site housing for children or families in need and/or short-term international visitors.
