Event summary
Join us on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, for the exciting Kids Kilometers event, held at Fossil Park in Sylvania, Ohio! This vibrant race is a celebration of youth running and is recognized as Northwest Ohio's oldest race for our youngest athletes. Perfectly designed for children aged 5 to 12, the event features four age-based race distances to ensure everyone can participate and enjoy the thrill of racing. Kids aged 5 and under will dash 1/2 kilometer (0.3 miles), while those aged 6 to 8 will take on 1 kilometer (0.6 miles). Runners aged 9 and 10 will tackle a 2-kilometer (1.2 miles) course, and the oldest participants, aged 11 and 12, will race 3 kilometers (1.86 miles).
The fun kicks off at 9:30 AM with Race A, followed by the subsequent races. Each event will award the top three boys and girls in their respective categories, making it a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to shine!
