Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the Kids Kilometers event, taking place on Saturday, June 7th, 2025, in Sylvania, Lucas! As Northwest Ohio's oldest race for our youngest runners, this event promises to be a delightful experience for children aged 5 to 12. Hosted at Fossil Park, located at 5675 Centennial Road, just south of Sylvania-Metamora Road, the event features four age-based race distances designed to encourage young athletes to showcase their running skills.
Children can participate in Race A (ages 5 & under) with a distance of 1/2 kilometer (0.3 miles), Race B (ages 6-8) at 1 kilometer (0.6 miles), Race C (ages 9 & 10) covering 2 kilometers (1.2 miles), and Race D (ages 11 & 12) with a distance of 3 kilometers (1.86 miles). The excitement kicks off at 9:30 AM with Race A, followed by the subsequent races. Awards will be presented to the top three boys and girls in each category, making this a great opportunity for young runners to shine! Online pre-registration is
