Get ready for an exhilarating evening at the Kingsbury Cougar Mudder & Twilight 5K Run or Walk on Friday, September 26, 2025, in beautiful Oxford, Oakland! This vibrant event celebrates its 15th annual gathering, inviting friends and neighbors to tackle a stunning 5K course that weaves through 100 acres of diverse terrain, including trails, meadows, and hills. Participants can choose between the traditional 5K run or the exciting Cougar Mudder obstacle course, where teamwork and fun are the name of the game.
The festivities kick off at 5:30 PM with the 5K run/walk, followed closely by the obstacle course waves starting at 5:35 PM. Runners aged 15 and older can compete for fantastic gift card prizes from Hanson's Running Shop, while younger participants have a chance to win awards too. Plus, don’t miss the Free Fun Glow Run for kids after the main events! With registration fees starting at just $25 until September 1, participants are encouraged to sign up early to guarantee their commemorative finisher medal. Join us for a night filled with excitement, community spirit, and unforgettable memories!

FRIDAY NIGHT TWILIGHT 5K
Join friends and neighbors of Kingsbury for its 15th annual on-campus race. The beautiful terrain that makes up the 100 acres of our incredible campus will challenge both runners and walkers with trails, roads, meadows, and hills in a 5K course that will be as memorable as it is demanding. In addition to the 5K race or obstacle race, a Free Fun Glow Run for younger runners will take place after the completion of the 5K race and obstacle run.
Gift Cards from Hanson's Running Shop will be awarded to the top three male and top three female 5K participants 15+. ($25, $15, $10 for both male and female winners)
Prizes will also be awarded to the top 5k male and female finishers 14 and under.
The registration fee is $25 until September 1st $35 September 2nd - 25th and $40 to sign up on race day. Racers who register and pay by September 1, 2025 are guaranteed to receive a commemorative Kingsbury 5k Custom finisher medal.

COUGAR MUDDER OBSTACLE COURSE 5K
Join friends and neighbors and conquer the Cougar Mudder 5K Obstacle Course Race. You will climb over walls, crawl under obstacles, complete different tasks, and traverse all types of dry and wet terrain. This is meant for friends to work together and challenge each other to try new things and have fun.
NO SIGN UP NEEDED FOR THE FREE FUN GLOW RUN.
