Participants can choose from the exhilarating Katonah 5K, which is a unique combination of road and trail running, alongside the fun-filled 1 Mile Kids Fun Run and the delightful Kids Dash for our youngest runners.
The race festivities kick off bright and early with the 5K starting at 8:00 AM, followed by the Kids Fun Run at 9:00 AM and the Kids Dash at 9:20 AM, all starting from The Village Green at Parkway and Edgemont, right across from the Katonah Village Library. While enjoying the scenic route, runners should be prepared for some natural obstacles like loose gravel, rocks, and roots, making it an adventure to remember! Don't miss the chance to grab a free K5K t-shirt for the first 100 registrants, with additional shirts available for purchase on race day,

Join us as we celebrate the 26th year of the KVIS Katonah Road Races! Participate in the Katonah 5K, the 1 Mile Kids Fun Run, and the Kids Dash, no fee to register! Races start on The Village Green at Parkway and Edgemont, across from the Katonah Village Library. The 5K starts promptly at 8:00 AM, followed by the 1 Mile Kids Fun Run at 9:00 AM and the Kids Dash at 9:20 AM.
THE 5K IS A COMBINATION ROAD AND TRAIL RUN. PLEASE BE MINDFUL THAT YOU WILL ENCOUNTER NATURAL OBSTACLES SUCH AS LOOSE GRAVEL, ROCKS AND ROOTS. STROLLERS AND DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED.
A free K5K t-shirt is available to the first 100 registrants. T-shirts are available for purchase on race day while supplies last.
THE FIRST 100 T-SHIRTS HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTED. T-SHIRTS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON RACE DAY WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.
WE ARE COLLECTING NEW SOCKS TO DONATE TO THE COMMUNITY CENTER OF NORTHERN WESTCHESTER. PLEASE CONSIDER BRINGING A PAIR ... OR TWO! A COLLECTION BOX WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DONATIONS ON THE DAY OF THE RACE.
This event is co-sponsored by the Town of Bedford and is KVISs largest fundraiser, involving hundreds of people of all ages. KVIS organizes and supports many inter-generational cultural and educational events to enrich the lives of Katonah residents and visitors, including: the Katonah Halloween Parade, The Oscars Come to Katonah Film Series, and the spring community-wide cleanup day. KVIS also supports beautification projects such as the pollinator garden at the Katonah station and the plantings along the train fencing. We partner with the Katonah Chamber of Commerce on various events to support Katonah merchants, including co-sponsoring Katonah for the Holidays and donation drives this past December.
