The day kicks off with registration opening at 9:00 AM, followed by the beloved Kids' Dewey Decimal Dash at 9:30 AM, and the main 5K Run/Walk starting at 10:00 AM. Awards will be presented shortly after the race, celebrating the overall male and female winners as well as the top three finishers in various age categories. LACE UP FOR ROCKLAND'S LIBRARIES! JOIN US FOR THE INAUGURAL LARC IN THE PARK 5K RUN/WALK AT ROCKLAND LAKE STATE PARK ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19. PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE LIBRARY ASSOCIATION OF ROCKLAND COUNTY (LARC) SCHOLARSHIP FUND AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR MEMBERS. LARC IS A 501(C)3 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION SUPPORTING AND PROMOTING ROCKLANDS PUBLIC LIBRARIES.
