LASAAs mission is to provide athletic events for our members, comprised of Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department employees and law enforcement personnel, to promote health, fitness, and camaraderie.
The Mug Run series started in 1993. The primary participants were law enforcement personnel with an average of 10 runners. Since then, the Mug Run series opened its participation to the general public. Today, participation has grown to over 300 runners.
The race provides outside friendly competition and positive interaction between law enforcement and the community.
Race day pricing increases to $40 so make sure to sign up early.
Each runner will receive a T-shirt on race day.
