Organiser's Description

71 Miles of Love: Walking/Running for a Father's Legacy and the Future of Our Youth

Join us for "The #KingJack 71 Miles of Love Challenge", a heartfelt tribute to the legacy of Jack Carey, a man who believed that how you present yourself can shape your future. This event is more than just another walk/runit's a mission to continue Jack's passion for empowering young men to put their best foot forward in life. Jack Carey was a firm believer that every young man deserves the confidence that comes with wearing a well-fitted suit, especially as they embark on their professional journeys.

All proceeds from this challenge will be donated to our Initiative to provide suites and learning experiences to young men and to the Thurgood Marshall Public Charter School My Brother's Keeper Program, which provides high school students with suits to wear for job interviews, graduation, and other important life events. Through this initiative, we aim to equip young men with the attire and the confidence they need to succeed as they transition from high school to the next chapter of their lives. The King Jack 71 miles challenge is also a proud supporter of A Pink Christmas, a non-profit organization for breast cancer survivors of color under 40 years old.

Whether you run, walk, or support through donation, your participation will help us honor Jack Carey's legacy and make a meaningful impact on the lives of these young men. Together, we can ensure that they are not only dressed for success but also ready to embrace their futures with confidence and pride.
