Participants of all ages are welcome, including kids who can take part in the Little Lemur Kids Fun Run! As you navigate the zoo, you’ll encounter a variety of magnificent animals, from red wolves to red pandas, making this a truly immersive experience. Don’t forget, participants will earn a custom shirt and medal, along with admission to the zoo for the day! With 100% of the net proceeds going directly to the Ross Park Zoo, this is not just a race—it's a celebration of wildlife conservation. Join us on SUNDAY, MAY 17, 2026, SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE ZOO AND LOOP THE LEMURS AS MANY TIMES AS YOU CAN IN A 2-HOUR, OR 1-HOUR event! With every lap that you complete, wave to our lemurs, Menabe & Rizzo, take a selfie, give them an air high-five, and if youre lucky - you might hear them cheer you on! The more times you loop the lemurs, the happier they will be, and the more support you will show for our beloved zoo! Run to be competitive, walk with a goal, or just stroll and enjoy the beautiful zoo loop; no matter how you do it, you will be supporting Menabe & Rizzo and all of the wonderful animals at the Ross Park Zoo, with 100% of the net proceeds going directly to the zoo.

LOOP THE LEMUR AND EARN YOUR CUSTOM SHIRT AND CUSTOM MEDAL, ALONG WITH ADMISSION INTO THE ZOO FOR THE DAY!
During your loops through the zoo, you will also pass Red Wolves, Leopards, Binturongs, Lynus the Black Vulture, Owls, Arctic Foxes, Howler Monkeys, Red Pandas, Peacocks, Sand Cats, Fennec Fox, Cinereous Vultures, Pallas's Cats, Sheep, Goats and more!
Participants of all abilities are invited to take part in this one-of-a-kind event and can choose from 3 different events:
* Loop the Lemur 2 Hour
* Loop the Lemur 1 Hour
* Little Lemur Kids Fun Run
Each event is timed and consists of covering the .8 loop inside the Ross Park Zoo as many times as you can or desire. Run, walk, skip, crawl, LEMUR SHUFFLE - it's up to you!

Awards for most laps will be given to:
* Overall Male and Female
* Second Place Male and Female
* Third Place Male and Female
* Team With The Most Laps
The black-and-white ruffed lemur, sadly, is a critically endangered friend. 100% of the net proceeds will go directly to The Ross Park Zoo in support of their efforts for the conservation of their endangered species. Consider adding a bit more to your registration to help keep Menabe, Rizzo, and their families safe in habitats that protect them and ensure their survival.

PACKET PICK UP IS ON RACE MORNING ONLY, STARTING AT 6:45 AM AT THE ROSS PARK ZOO.
