Before the resource fair begins, we invite you to take part in a 1-mile walk to raise awareness about dementia and help support our mission to close the resource gap here in Sisters. Together, we can take steps toward a more informed and supportive community.
At LIVING WELL WITH DEMENTIA IN SISTERS (LWWDS), we empower those with dementia and their care partners. We are a community-driven initiative dedicated to supporting individuals living with dementia and their care partners in Sisters, Oregon. We provide access to local resources, host educational events and support gatherings, and advocate for a more dementia-friendly community. Our goal is to close the resource gap and ensure no one faces dementia alone.
Our mission is to empower individuals affected by all forms of Dementia, as well as their care partners, through targeted resources and educational initiatives. We are committed to fostering a community that ages gracefully and lives well.
Our vision is to cultivate a community-wide emphasis on well-being, aiming to enhance the health and longevity of every resident in the Sisters Community.
