Organiser's Description
We are proud to announce the 2nd annual Macon Music Half Marathon to be held on November 16, 2024. It will start and end in Carolyn Crayton Park (Central City Park). The course will take you by locations showing the musical heritage of Macon including the Grand Opera House, the Big House, Little Richard's home, Capricorn Studios, Otis Redding Foundation, and Mercer's McDuffie Center for Strings as well as other historic and cultural sites.
New attractions include more music on the course, concert at the end, course changes to remove high traffic areas, and finishing at home plate in historic Luther William Field
Race begins at 8am with a 3.5 hour time limit
