Join us for the 11th Annual Marauder Trotter 5K Run/Walk on July 4, 2026, at the picturesque Wright Park in Dunkirk, Chautauqua! Kicking off at 9 a.m., this exciting event not only promises a fun day of fitness and community spirit but also supports a noble cause—the DHS Class of 1989 Memorial Scholarship Fund, honoring the memories of beloved classmates. Runners and walkers of all ages can participate in this scenic 5K course that winds along the beautiful Dunkirk Lakefront.
With race categories for both males and females spanning from 14 years old to 70 and older, there’s a spot for everyone! Participants can expect awards for the top finishers, including $100 cash prizes for the first male and female runners and medals for the top three finishers in each age group. Don’t miss out on the chance to secure your event T-shirt by registering before June 26, 2026! We are excited to announce that the 11th Annual Marauder Trotter 5k Run/Walk will be held on July 4, 2026 at 9 a.m. at Wright Park in Dunkirk, New York.
Race proceeds will support the DHS Class of 1989 Memorial Scholarship Fund (managed by NCCF) in honor of their deceased classmates.

It begins at Wright Park.
You follow Lake Front BLVD.
At the end of Lake Front BLVD you will enter a path that goes by the water front.
At the end of the path you will make a right and go around the pier.
Once you go around the pier you will make a right onto a path that will go around Memorial Park.
You will loop around Memorial Park, make a right back onto the path.
You will go straight across the pier to the original path you were on.
Take that path back to Lake Front BLVD
Take Lake Front BLVD back to Wright Park for the finish!
