Participants will kick off the race at Tennessee Sports Medicine, with the 5K course splitting off for a shorter distance while the 8K runners continue an extra mile before both routes wind through the scenic Third Creek Greenway, culminating at Safety City Park.
Whether you're aiming for a personal best or just looking to enjoy a fun day outdoors, this race has something for everyone. Awards will be given to the top three male and female overall finishers, along with age group awards for every decade. Plus, all finishers will receive a custom T-shirt, but make sure to register before March 1st to guarantee your shirt! Marble City of Knoxville is hosting this 5K & 8K race Sponsored by Fas' Movement and other community partners for runners who want a flat fast race along Sutherland Avenue, one of the hubs of running in Knoxville.
Course will begin from Tennessee Sports Medicine on Sutherland and will travel out West before event participants will split for 5K while 8K travels one mile further before turning in as both course will run through Third Creek Greenway and finish along Safety City Park. Course will be supported by the Knoxville Police Department to assist with traffic and road closures.
Awards will be given to top 3 Male & top 3 Females overall. Age Groups will be awarded to top individual per gender for every 10 year increment (9 & under, 10-19, 40-49 etc). All finishers will receive a custom T-shirt. T-shirt orders will close one week before the race date, registrations after March 1st are NOT guaranteed a race shirt.
