The festival area will feature more vendors and activities than ever before, including live music, delicious post-race food and beverages, and a free chili cook-off where you can taste and vote for your favorites. Plus, with professional chip timing and real-time results provided by Bryn Mawr Racing Company, every second counts! This event is not just about racing; it’s about making a difference, as 100% of the proceeds go toward nature education programs and the maintenance of the nearly 100-acre McKaig Nature Center. It's the 10th Anniversary of the McKaig 5K Trail Race! As always, get ready for a beautiful, fun-packed, Autumn morning at one of the region's most highly regarded 5k Trail Races, but this time, expect a little extra. We'll do everything in our power to make the most memorable event yet!
WHAT YOU'LL GET:
*New! A McKaig 10th Anniversary Hoodie for all registrants (if registered by 9/28)
*More vendors and activities in the festival area, with music and post-race food & beverages
*Free access to the chili cook-off where you can taste and vote for your favorites

As always, it's never the same course twice as you run the trails through these beautiful woods, across streams and up and down hills in this scenic but challenging race.
Returning for another season is the MONKEY ROCK MILER, as well as the FREE KIDS RACE
A reminder that 100% OF THE PROCEEDS GO TOWARD NATURE EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND THE MAINTENANCE AND PRESERVATION OF THIS NEARLY 100 ACRE OASIS, which survives solely on donations, memberships and proceeds from events like this one. Great race, great cause, great time!

McKaig will be hosting a chili cook-off in the race festival area! Tasting will be free to racers and $5 for non-racers. All who taste will have a vote, with the top 3 chefs receiving medals!
