Join us for the exciting Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Vietnam Veterans Park in Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina! Starting at 9:30 AM, this vibrant race is perfect for runners of all levels, offering scenic courses that feature both paved paths and a stretch of gravel/dirt. Participants can choose to tackle the 5K, which consists of one loop, the 10K, which does two loops, or the challenging Half Marathon, requiring four loops of the course. All finishers will be awarded a themed medal to commemorate their accomplishment, and for those who love to get creative, there will be a costume contest with prizes for the best outfits!
Be sure to arrive early for packet pickup, which begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes prior to the start. With a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes, everyone has the chance to enjoy the shaded route and soak in the camaraderie of fellow runners. We are located at the Dogwood Shelter.
This course is paved with a stretch of gravel/dirt.
The bathrooms are located in the right corner of the parking lot when you first enter.
This is a shaded course.
