Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 42nd Annual Seaboard Festival 5K, taking place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in the charming town of Hamlet, Richmond. This historic race, themed around the iconic Seaboard Railroad, will take participants through a picturesque residential neighborhood featuring rolling hills in downtown Hamlet. Runners will not only enjoy the scenic route but also have the chance to earn a custom Railroad/Halloween themed finisher's medal, awarded to the top 350 finishers.
In addition to the excitement of the race, there will be awards for the top three male and female finishers, with age group awards given three deep in 10-year categories. This event is more than just a race; it also supports the community by providing three scholarships at Richmond Community College through donations and race registrations. Organiser's Description
The 42nd Annual Seaboard Festival 5K is a very historic Seaboard Railroad themed 5K that takes you through a residential neighborhood with rolling hills in downtown Hamlet NC. The top 350 finishers will receive a custom Railroad/Halloween themed finishers medal. Awards will also be given to the top 3 male and female finishers. Age group awards will be awarded 3 deep in 10 year age groups. We are proud to be able to offer three scholarships at Richmond Community College through donations and race registrations.
