With a rich history as one of Indiana's largest Mile races, the Memorial Day Mile brings together over 1,000 enthusiastic walkers and runners to honor our brave heroes before the annual Memorial Day Service on the Johnson County Courthouse lawn at 11:00 AM. Every participant will receive a stylish Memorial Day Mile t-shirt and a finisher medal, ensuring a memorable experience. Whether you're aiming for a personal best or just looking to enjoy a day of community spirit, this event is not to be missed! Be sure to pick up your packet on Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Franklin Amphitheater or on race day from 7:15 AM to 8:30 AM. Come out

PACKET PICKUP IS SUNDAY FROM 1PM TO 5PM AT THE FRANKLIN AMPHITHEATER AND FROM 7:15AM TO 8:30 ON RACE DAY
* The 2024 Memorial Day Mile run/walk is Monday, May 26, 2025
* 1 Mile Female and Male competitive races and 1 Mile Family Walk/Jog/Run
* 9:00am Female Competitive Mile (MUST BE ABLE TO RUN UNDER 10 MINUTES FOR 1 MILE)
* 9:20am Male Competitive Mile (MUST BE ABLE TO RUN UNDER 10 MINUTES FOR 1 MILE)
* 9:40am Family Walk/Jog/Run
* 10:15am Awards
* 11:00am Memorial Day Service on the Johnson County Courthouse lawn
* More participants than any other Mile race in Indiana and the 9th largest Mile race in America in 2019. Over 1,000 walkers and runners participated in 2024.
* Connecting thankful citizens with Memorial Day observance by giving families an opportunity to come together in downtown Franklin to walk/jog/run prior to the annual Memorial Day Service
Additional Information:
* Every participant receives a Memorial Day Mile t-shirt and a finisher medal
* Shirt/bib pick up is the Sunday before the race and on race day
* No shirts or medals will be mailed
* Water is provided at the finish of the race
* Restrooms and Porta Johns are located at the start/finish area
* Sorry, no pets are allowed
