Join us for the 9th annual Indy Runners Charity XC Challenge on Monday, September 7, 2026, in beautiful Indianapolis, Marion. This exciting event promises a day filled with fun and philanthropy as runners of all ages come together to support worthy causes. Participants can look forward to competitive race distances while enjoying the camaraderie of the running community.
This year, the Charity XC Challenge returns to Brebeuf Jesuit High School, where we will honor our cherished anchor charities, including Back on My Feet, the Joseph Maley Foundation, and Girls on the Run, along with our permanent anchor charity, Outrun the Sun, dedicated to melanoma research. It's a fantastic opportunity to not only run but also create your own team and rally support for a charity of your choice. Half of the entry fees will directly benefit your chosen cause, while the other half fuels the race! For those who can't attend in person, a virtual option is available, allowing everyone to participate and contribute. Don't miss this chance to make a difference while enjoying a vibrant day of racing! Pre-registration closes on August 30, so secure your spot and join us for an unforgettable Labor Day event!

Our 9th year hosting our Charity XC Challenge!
We have been blessed to distribute nearly $25,000 to many deserving Charities in our first 8-years! Thank you all so much!
We've been blessed to rotate between host sites the past few years. After another fun year at North Central HS last year, we're BACK TO BREBEUF JESUIT HIGH SCHOOL this year.
This year's ANCHOR CHARITIES include our usual favorites and are OPEN FOR ANYONE to join - Back on My Feet, Joseph Maley Foundation, Girls on the Run...And of course, our Permanent Anchor Charity - Outrun the Sun for melanoma research in recognition of our dear friend, Don Keller. "Team Dono" is open to all who wish to honor Don's legacy by supporting further research into the disease which eventually took his life.
And as always, you can CREATE YOUR OWN TEAM and support a Charity of your choosing (we've had some great ones over the years). Recruit as many folks to join you as you can as Half of the entry fees on your Team go directly to that Charity, and then we Race for the other half - using our Age Graded Percent again this year which levels the playing field across both Age and Gender so we're all in the same division.
VIRTUAL: With our move to Labor Day, we realize several folks will have other fun plans that weekend and not necessarily make it back on Monday to join us in the Charity XC fun. If you would still like to support our causes, but can't make it On Site, please consider signing up Virtually and Donate whatever you feel comfortable with and we'll add it in the Pot for distribution to all the charities according to finish.
NOTE: Pre-Registration will Close at 6:00pm Saturday, August 30, to get bibs put together
But ON SITE REGISTRATION is available on Race Morning. See you soon!
