Get ready for an exhilarating experience at the 43rd annual Mineral Point Historic Gettin’ The Lead Out Run on Friday, July 4th, 2025! This exciting event invites runners and walkers alike to explore the picturesque streets of Mineral Point, Iowa, with the option to choose between a challenging 2-mile or a scenic 5-mile course. The race kicks off at 8:00 AM sharp from Soldier's Memorial Park, where participants can enjoy day-of registration starting at 7:00 AM.
As you tackle the hilly terrain, rest assured that water stations will be available at the 2 and 4-mile marks to keep you hydrated. Make sure to register before June 1, 2025, to secure your event T-shirt, and remember that extra shirts may be limited on race day. Awards will be presented to the top finishers in each division, with commemorative mugs and medals up for grabs, plus ribbons for all participants aged 12 and under. Join us for a fun-filled day of fitness, community spirit, and celebration this Independence Day!

The Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for the 43rd annual Gettin' The Lead Out Historic Run. Choose between a 2-mile or 5-mile course through the beautiful historic Mineral Point. Walkers welcome!

Day-of registration from 7:00-7:30 AM. Race begins at 8:00 am SHARP!
Location: Soldier's Memorial Park, Mineral Point, WI
REGISTRATION:
Include age, T-shirt size, gender (male or female), and choice of 2 or 5 mile run/walk in the comment section.
REGISTER BEFORE JUNE 1, 2025, TO GUARANTEE A T-SHIRT.
Extra shirts may be available the day of the event, but no guarantees, so please register before JUNE 1.
