CHILDREN SHOULDN'T HAVE TO WAIT DAYS FOR A MEAL, YET IN HAITI MANY DO.
Our 6th annual virtual 5K supports orphaned and vulnerable children living on the island of La Gonave in Haiti. 100% of every dollar raised will go towards feeding programs and is completely tax deductible. This little island is known as "the forgotten Haiti" will reach famine level conditions in June, 2025, according to the IPC report on food insecurity,. THAT'S WHY THE 6TH ANNUAL 5K HAS A GOAL OF $50,000 TO PROVIDE ALMOST 5,000 MEALS PER MONTH.
This year our race is committed to ensuring _EVERY CHILD_ in our community receives a meal _EVERY DAY_, not just when they are in school. For the cost of 1 entry you will provide a child one meal every day for an entire month. This race can be completed your own way as long as it's between July 12 and July 19. Your 5K can be done running, walking, cycling, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, or any other way you want to _MOVE AGAINST HUNGER_.

CLOSEDThis is our 6th annual 5K in 5 days and you get to do it your way. Complete the 3.1 miles with any activity you choose over the course of 7 days. Take pictures and have fun! We will acknowledge the most unique activity, the largest team and the most funds raised. Let's move to fight against hunger!
