Join us for the MULE NIGHT 5K, an exciting event taking place from September 26 to 27, 2025, in the charming town of Winfield, Marion. This annual race is not just about running; it's a fantastic opportunity to support our local high school cross country team, which relies entirely on community contributions for funding. Participants can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere while running the 5K or participating in the Fun Run Walk.
Online registration opens on July 8, 2025, and closes on September 12, 2025, at midnight, so be sure to secure your spot! Packet pick-up for your t-shirt and race medal will take place on September 26 at 10:30 PM at the City Hall parking lot under the Encore tent. Awards will be presented to the top three winners in each male and female age division, along with an overall male and female winner. Come out, have fun, and make a difference in the lives of our young athletes! Your participation truly matters, and together, we can help them reach their goals.

BY YOUR PARTICIPATION, YOU ARE SUPPORTING OUR LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY TEAM. THEIR FUNDING IS RAISED SOLELY THROUGH 100 PERCENT OF CONTRIBUTIONS. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND WE KNOW THROUGH OUR COMBINED EFFORTS WE CAN HELP THEM ACHIEVER THEIR GOALS.
We have teamed up with Encore Rehab and Winfield City High School Cross Country Team to bring you our annual 5k Race and Fun Run Walk. Online registration will begin 7/8/2025 and will go through 9/12/2025 at Midnight. Your t-shirt and race medal will be available for pick up on 9/26/2025 at 10:30pm at the parking lot at City Hall under the Encore tent. If you are not pre-registered you will not be guaranteed a chip timer or t-shirt. 100 percent of all proceeds go to the WCHS Cross country team. Each year the cross country team has to raise 100 percent of their needs for their program.
