MVHCT IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT ON JUNE 7TH, 2025, WE WILL BE HOSTING OUR 4TH ANNUAL COMMUNITY WALK/RUN EVENT THAT IS OPEN TO PEOPLE OF ALL ABILITIES. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT WILL BE DIRECTED TO THE MVH AT CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIPS CHARITABLE SUPPORT FUND, WHICH HELPS ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR OUR MEMBERS AND SO MUCH MORE.

Experience the beautiful grounds of our heroes home while supporting a great cause! As you arrive, be sure to catch a glimpse of our beloved mascots, Emma and Charlie, our majestic bald eagles. You can view them from the road, but please respect their spacegetting too close could disturb their nest, and we want to keep them safe for our veterans to enjoy.
This event is open to participants of all abilities, ensuring everyone can take part in honoring and supporting our veterans. All proceeds will go to the charitable support fund at Michigan Veteran Homes at Chesterfield Township, helping to provide quality of life programs, activities, outings, and more for those who have served our nation.

REMEMBRANCE WALK (.5 MILE)
Not a runner? No problem! This event is for everyoneincluding you. Lace up your walking shoes and join our heroes for a 0.5-mile loop of remembrance around the home. Its more than just a walkits a chance to honor, connect, and thank the veterans who have given so much for our nation.
Whether you're here to have fun, dress up, give high-fives, or even volunteer to push a veteran in the walk, theres a way for everyone to be involved. (Check out the volunteer link for details!)
As a token of our appreciation, all participants will receive a commemorative shirt if registered before May 23rd, plus the unforgettable experience of meeting some of the bravest individuals, their families, and the incredible staff who serve them every day.
Come walk, celebrate, and make a differencebecause honoring our heroes is always worth the step!
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES- (RACE SHIRTS ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH VOLUNTEER PARTICIPATION AND MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.

NOTE: Due increase cost and desire to raise as much money as possible for our heroes we are kindly requesting volunteers purchase this year commemorative race shirts for $10 before May 19th if they would like one.
