The CATs are thrilled to partner with Panorama Farms and our title sponsor, Formula Complete Fitness, for the 4th Annual Naked Creek Trail Race! The first three years of NCTR have been an incredible success, and we cant wait to see what 2026 has in store. If youre a seasoned trail runner, this race has the vibe you already loveand if this is your first trail race, its the vibe youre about to fall in love with!
Were excited to return to the exclusive Panorama Farms, host of the 2023 NCAA Cross Country Championship and home course of UVA Cross Country. Were also proud to share that, for the third year in a row, NCTR is TRAIL SISTER APPROVED!
Both the 25K and 10K courses are roughly 90% wooded singletrack/doubletrack and 10% open cross-country/jeep road. Runners will enjoy sweeping views of the South Fork Rivanna River Reservoir, the Blue Ridge Mountains, and several miles of gorgeous terrain winding alongand acrossNaked Creek. Want a preview? Because the Panorama Farms trails are on private land and not open to the public, this race offers a rare opportunity to experience them firsthand. Elevation profiles, course maps, and GPX files are available on the NCTR Facebook page. Expect approximately 2,300 ft of elevation gain/loss on the 25K course and 1,000 ft on the 10K.
As an added bonus, a portion of race proceeds will be donated back to Panorama Farms to support their ongoing efforts to host local high school cross country meets.
Please note that we do not offer refunds, with one important exception: as a Trail Sistersapproved race, we honor pregnancy and postpartum refund requests. If you need to request one, please email your race directors at [email protected] and [email protected].
Lastly, we order race shirts and swag well in advance. In fact, we have already ordered shirts to ensure we have a supply on race day! Please sign up early to ensure you get your shirt. We will let registrants know once shirt supplies are out.

The course map, elevation profile, and .gpx file is available on the NCTR Facebook page. The course will feature ~2300 ft of ascending/descending and be made up of 90% wooded single/double track trails and 10% open cross country trails/jeep roads. It will be a loop style course with very little overlap. There will be a fully stocked aid station at the start/finish line, two fully stocked aid stations on course with water/electrolytes and food, and two water/electrolyte only station. Aid station locations are shown on the course map. Prizes will be given out for the top three OA male and female winners as well as age group winners. As with previous year's, 25K finisher will receive a super secret finishers prize. The first year it was arm sleeves, the second year it was a boco running hat, the third year it was NCTR dry bags, and this year its a...well you'll find out at the finish line! -
