Participants can choose between two stunning race distances: the challenging 25K course, featuring approximately 2300 feet of ascent and descent, and the scenic 10K route with around 1000 feet of elevation change. Both courses offer nearly 90% wooded single track and double track, alongside breathtaking views of the South Fork Rivanna River Reservoir and the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, as they wind along the enchanting Naked Creek. The CATs are excited to partner with Panorama Farms and title sponsor Formula Complete Fitness for the 3rd annual NAKED CREEK TRAIL RACE. The first two years of running of NCTR has been an unbelievable success and we can't wait to see what 2025 brings! If youre a seasoned trail runner, this race has the vibe you love! If this is your first trail race, this race has the vibe youll soon love! We are super excited to return to the exclusive Panorama Farms, site and 2023 NCAA Cross Country Championship and home cross country course to UVA. We are also proud to say that for the second year in a row, we are TRAIL SISTER APPROVED!!
Both the 25K and 10K courses will be approximately 90% wooded single track/double track and 10% open cross country/jeep road. The courses will feature spectacular views of the South Fork Rivanna River Reservoir, Blue Ridge Mountains, and spend miles meandering along (and across!) Naked Creek. The trails at Panorama Farms are private land and not accessible to the public, so it will be a real treat to experience them on race day!! As an added bonus, a portion of the proceeds from this race will go back to Panorama Farms and help support their continued efforts to host local high school cross country meets!
Please note there are no refunds, but as a Trail Sister approved race, there is a pregnancy and postpartum exception to that! If you need a refund for pregnancy or postpartum reason, please email your race directors at [email protected] and [email protected]. Lastly, we will be placing our order for race T-shirts and swag well in advance of the race. If you sign up for the race after January 17th, we cannot guarantee you will receive a T-shirt.

The course map, elevation profile, and .gpx file is available on the NCTR Facebook page. The course will feature ~2300 ft of ascending/descending and be made up of 90% wooded single/double track trails and 10% open cross country trails/jeep roads. It will be a loop style course with very little overlap. There will be a fully stocked aid station at the start/finish line, two fully stocked aid stations on course with water/electrolytes and food, and two water/electrolyte only station. Aid station locations are shown on the course map. Prizes will be given out for the top three OA male and female winners as well as age group winners. As with previous year's, 25K finisher will receive a super secret finishers prize. The first year it was arm sleeves, last year it was a boco running hat, this year its a...well you'll find out at the finish line! -
