Join us on SUNDAY, MAY 11, 2025, FOR THE NCLS DRAGON'S PATH & CAAN NEWTON AAPI 5K/1K RUN AND WALK, a vibrant celebration of Mothers day, AAPI Heritage Month, healthy living, and the unbeatable spirit of our community. Lace up your sneakers and hit the flat and fast, tree lined course on Wells Ave loop in Newton. Youll enjoy fresh spring air, blossoming trees, and a lively community atmosphere, all ages and abilities are welcome.
This event is co-hosted by NEWTON CHINESE LANGUAGE SCHOOL (NCLS) and the CHINESE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF NEWTON (CAAN).
NCLS was founded in 1959 and has a 65-year history of serving the Greater Boston community. As the largest Chinese Language School in New England, NCLS fosters cultural heritage, language learning and multicultural exchange while building strong community connections. Today, NCLS serves over 800 families and 1300 students, strengthening ties across generations.
CAAN was established in 2016 to promote the well-being of Chinese community in Newton. Through cultural, educational, and civic initiatives, CAAN fosters diversity and inclusion, engages in local affairs, and collaborates with local governments and organizations to improve community life.
This event also receives support from the local running community, including running clubs like BOSTON BULLS and BOSTON SNAIL.
