Get ready for an inspiring day at New York City's Race Against Gun Violence on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, held in the vibrant neighborhood of Brooklyn, Kings. This event will kick off bright and early at 7:00 AM with the opening of the Event Site and Charity Partner Village, followed by a lively atmosphere featuring a DJ and entertainment starting at 7:30 AM. Participants can look forward to an engaging opening ceremony at 8:00 AM.
Join us for the heart-pounding 5K race at 9:00 AM or take part in the 2-Mile Walk beginning shortly after at 9:05 AM. There’s even a special Kids Dash to encourage our youngest champions to get involved! The day will culminate with an awards ceremony at 10:30 AM, celebrating the efforts of all participants. Every stride taken and dollar raised will directly benefit local charities dedicated to making a difference in the fight against gun violence. Come together, lace up your running shoes, and make your voice heard as we work towards a safer community. Let’s make strides for peace!
