ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us for the North Point Fright Night 5K and the Trail of Lost Runners Past, a Halloween-themed community event like no other! Hosted on North Point High Schools official cross country course, this evening of running, scares, and family fun will raise funds to directly support our student-athletes.
All proceeds benefit the North Point Track & Field Team, and school's non-profit number should be included on receipts for tax write-off purposes. For sponsorship inquiries or fundraising booth opportunities, please contact Head Coach George Empty at [email protected].
5K RACE INFORMATION
Our 5K features three start times so everyone can participate:
Elite Runners: 2:00 PM (capped at 100 runners initially; may expand if interest is high)
Middle School & Younger: 2:45 PM (kids race the same 5K course, supported by volunteers)
Open / Family Wave: 3:30 PM (perfect for families and recreational runners)
The race uses North Points official cross country 5K course, certified for competitive meets.
REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
Souvenir event T-shirt (must be picked up by 7:00 PM race day)
Medals for Top 3 men & women, boy & girl of each race
Admission to the Trail of Lost Runners Past haunted trail experience (operating 5-9pm)

HAUNTED TRAIL: _TRAIL OF LOST RUNNERS PAST_
After the races, dare to enter the Trail of Lost Runners Past, a quarter-mile haunted trail through the dark woods behind the school. Created in partnership with professional haunted house designers, this chilling walk is not for the faint of heart!
Hours: 5:00 PM 9:00 PM (arrive earlyno refunds if you miss your time)
Recommended for middle school and up (younger children may enter with parent/guardian approval).
Admission is included for 5K registrants.
Trail-only tickets: $20 online, higher price at the gate and once trail opens.
