As September is National Suicide Prevention Month, all proceeds from the event will benefit Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services, helping to promote awareness and support for those affected by suicide. This year's event will also include a special remembrance banner, allowing participants and volunteers to honor those we've lost while fostering hope and conversation. Don't miss out on packet pick-up on Friday, September 5, from 4 PM to 6 PM or on race day from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at the registration tent. Lace up your shoes and join us for a day of inspiration, community, and making a difference!

Come take part in the Oak Ridge Fall Classic 5k! The course utilizes the Oak Ridge Recreation and Parks' Melton Hill Lake Greenway. It is a perfect way for runners and walkers to celebrate the beginning of fall. All proceeds will benefit programming of Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services.
September is national Suicide Prevention Month. In order to create awareness and strengthen the fight against suicide, the entire month of September is Suicide Prevention Month. Participate in the fight by getting involved with local organizations like Ridgeview and listening to those who need help. Suicide Prevention Month helps to promote conversations around this subject. New to our 2024 event will be an opportunity to participate while honoring those who we have lost to suicide. A remembrance banner will be available for participants and volunteers to write a name, nickname, initials, &/or a message to someone paying witness to those we've lost while lifting up hope is a fitting complement to the event.
Packet Pick-Up available Friday, September 13 from 4pm-6pm at Ridgeview's Main Center Lobby located at 240 W. Tyrone Road in Oak Ridge and Saturday, September 14 from 7:30 am - 8:30 am at Ridgeview's registration tent located at start/finish line.
Please be advised limited quantities remain in varying sizes for those who register on 9/13 or day-of event.

Parking is available at Melton Hill Lake. Colorful fall short-sleeve shirts to all participants who preregister by 9/5/23. Shirts not guaranteed for those who register after 9/6. Awards for top 3 male and female and at ten-year age group increments, e.g. 20-29, 30-39, etc. This is an out and back course on the Melton Hill Greenway and will be open to the public. Water available at the turn-around and at the finish. September is national Suicide Prevention Month.
