This exciting four-mile footrace is a fantastic way to celebrate independence and camaraderie while enjoying the beautiful Northampton Community Park.
With a limited field of 500 entrants, participants can look forward to a friendly atmosphere and a flat, out-and-back course that allows you to cheer on friends as you run. Hydration stations will be set up along the route to keep you refreshed, and be sure to stick around for the post-race celebration featuring delicious hot dogs and watermelon, plus your first round courtesy of Tranquility Brewing! Don't miss the chance to snag an apple pie award or a custom race shirt—register early to secure your spot. THOUGH THESE SOUND LIKE VERY DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, THE SCHOOL PARKING LOT IS 6/10TH OF A MILE FROM THE STARTING LINE. YOU WILL WALK PARTS OF THE COURSE GETTING TO RACE DAY PICK-UP AND THE STARTING LINE. PLAN TO ARRIVE EARLY.
THE NARROW BIKE PATH IS OUT-AND-BACK ON NARROW PAVED BIKE PATH, AND THE PARK IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. ESPECIALLY FOR THIS REASON, RESPECTFULLY, PLEASE DONT ASK IF YOU CAN RUN WITH YOUR VERY WELL BEHAVED DOG, CAT OR FERRET OR BABY-JOGGER.

YOUR SPECTATING FRIENDS CAN SEE YOU AT THE START, ONE MILE MARK, 1.5 MILE, TWO MILE, 2.5 MILE, 3 MILE MARK AND THE FINISH WITH JUST A KILOMETER OF WALKING!
