The 2025 BLACKBERRY FESTIVAL 5K is SATURDAY, JULY 5, 2025 at 8:00AM in the heart of downtown Carlisle. The race will include an in-person 5K run/walk, Fastest Kid in Town race and virtual option. Our 2025 race will support Nicholas County Carlisle Tourism.
RACE FEATURES:
* Commemorative race T-shirts
* Chip timing (Thanks RaceRise!)
* Awards for Top 3 M/F Overall and Top 3 M/F in 10-year age groups
* Free race photos (Thanks Ruby Cline-Eaton)
* Social teams to expand your race experience (Prize for the largest team)
* 5K run/walk, Fastest Kid in Town and virtual options
* Food, fun, music and fellowship in heart of the Carlisle Blackberry Festival
FASTEST KID IN TOWN RACES This event is open to all kids 12 and under and is a FREE EVENT. Parents may add on a commemorative shirt for $10. We will have run offs by age (2-12) and then have a final Fastest Kid in Town race with all of the age category winners. Kids will receive a participation medal.
5K AWARDS We will provide awards for the Top 3 M/F Overall Finishers as well as Top 2 M/F in each age group 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
