The inaugural BLACKBERRY FESTIVAL 5K is SATURDAY, JULY 5, 2025 at 8:00AM in the heart of downtown Carlisle. The race will include an in-person 5K run/walk, Fastest Kid in Town race and virtual option. Our 2025 race will support Nicholas County Carlisle Tourism.

FASTEST KID IN TOWN RACES This event is open to all kids 12 and under and is a FREE EVENT. Parents may add on a commemorative shirt for $10. We will have run offs by age (2-12) and then have a final Fastest Kid in Town race with all of the age category winners. Kids will receive a participation medal.
5K AWARDS We will provide awards for the Top 3 M/F Overall Finishers as well as Top 2 M/F in each age group 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
