To all swimmers and athletes, Im excited to lead our practice and share some valuable tips and drills, for the 3rd year, especially for our beginners. If youve participated in the St. Anthonys Triathlon before, this is a great chance to practice your swim start!
The course will feature three buoys youll keep on your right. After reaching the final buoy, you can either swim towards the shoreline for a sprint distance or turn around with the added buoys for a longer swim. While we cant swim towards the pier due to boat traffic, you can complete two loops around the designated areaapproximately 2,000 yards of invigorating fun!
Your safety is my top priority, so well have friends on paddle boards and kayaks along with lifeguards to ensure a supportive environment. If you have any questions or need clarification, please feel free to reach out!
I anticipate a fantastic turnout of 100 participants each Sunday, so be sure to review the map and familiarize yourself with the course. Remember, the key to a successful swim is: sight, sight, sight!
