This exciting event invites participants to celebrate the majestic Southern Resident killer whales, a unique population of orcas that call the Pacific Northwest home. Choose from a variety of distances that best suit your fitness journey: complete the full 76-mile Southern Resident Orca Challenge, tackle the 27-mile J Pod Challenge, the 15-mile K Pod Challenge, or the 34-mile L Pod Challenge. Whether you prefer running, walking, or hitting the treadmill, you can log your miles at your own pace and on your own schedule while raising awareness for orca recovery and habitat protection.
Participants will be rewarded with exclusive finisher medals and Orca-themed Junk Brands headbands to commemorate their achievements. Plus, don't miss out on early bird registration from August 3 to August 6 for just $25! Description: The Southern Resident killer whales are a unique population of orcas found in the Pacific Northwest. They are made up of three podsJ, K, and Land live in close-knit, matriarchal family groups led by older females. Most orcas spend their entire lives with their mothers and grandmothers, creating strong family bonds that help preserve their culture and survival.

Complete your miles wherever you chooserun, walk, or use a treadmillat your own pace and on your own schedule. Every mile helps raise awareness for Orca Recovery and the importance of protecting their habitat. All participants will receive an exclusive Orca Recovery finisher medal and an Orca-themed Junk Brands headband to celebrate their accomplishment. Together, we can make a differenceone mile at a time.
Early bird, August 3 - August 6 registration is $25 plus processing fees and $10 shipping & handling.
Price increases on August 7 to $35 plus processing fees and $10 shipping & handling. All completed challenge swag will be mailed out the week of November 15th.
