Join us for the exciting Panther Pajama Run on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at George King Field, located at Strath Haven Middle School in Wallingford, Delaware! This vibrant community event features a 5K race and a 1.2-mile Family Fun Walk, all aimed at raising funds to enhance educational excellence in the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District.
Participants of all ages are welcome! Pre-registration for the 5K is just $15 for students and seniors, and $25 for adults, while the Family Fun Walk is $10 for students and seniors, and $12 for adults. Don’t miss out on the chance to win awards for overall and age group categories, as well as the coveted Best PJs award! The race kicks off at 9:00 AM, with registration and check-in starting at 8:00 AM. Overall and Age Groups, Top 1-3 overall, top 1-3 in each age group (12 & under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+), Best PJs
Entry:
-5K pre-registration fee: Students/Seniors- $15; Adults- $25
-1.2mi Family Fun Walk pre-registration: Students/Seniors- $10; Adults- $12
-5K same day: Students/Seniors- $20; Adults- $30
-Family Fun Walk same day: Students/Seniors- $12; Adults- $15
Amenities
T-shirts guaranteed for the FIRST 100 registered (adult sizes only: S, M, L, XL); free race snacks/refreshments provided. Awards for each age category & The Best PJs will be presented at 10:15AM.

The Foundation is an independent non-profit organization run by a volunteer board of parents dedicated to supporting innovation and excellence in our schools. Raising money from parents & local businesses, we grant this money to the Wallingford Swarthmore School District to pay for special projects and teaching tools across our five schools. We work closely with district and school leadership to identify funding priorities and then issue grant funds to support needs.
Race Bib Pick-Up will be on Race Day, Saturday, November 8th. Registration/Check-in opens at 8:00AM & the race starts at 9:00AM. When you arrive to George King Field at Strath Haven Middle School (SHMS), please go directly to the registration table for quick runner/walker check-in & you will receive your race bib at that time.
For those who have not been to King Field or SHMS before, please note there are 2 parking lots: the upper parking lot is at the front of the middle school right off of Providence Rd, while the lower parking lot is behind the school & the entrance is off of Copples Ln (near the corner of Copples Ln & Providence Rd). See you there!
