In honor of the CampFire, that devastated The Ridge, this 5K walk/run and 10K run is a commemorative event created as a tribute to the resilience of the residents who have overcome.
The 6th Annual Phoenix 5K/10K is more than just another running event It's a living tribute to the strength and resilience of the Ridge community after the devastation of the 2018 CampFire. Symbolized by the Phoenix, this commemorative event honors how residents have risen from tragedy to rebuild and thrive.
The route guides participants along the Memorial Trail and through meaningful landmarks; new homes and empty lots, rebuilt schools, murals, handprint wall and the future Hope Plaza, while also passing the police and fire departments to recognize the heroes who protected the town. Each step on this course tells a story of remembrance, gratitude, and hope for what continues to rise on the Ridge.

OPENS 01 JULTo ensure participant safety and allow for the timely reopening of roads and race operations, the Phoenix 10K has a 75-minute course time limit. The race begins promptly at 9:00 AM, and all participants must cross the finish line by 10:15 AM. Participants who are unable to maintain this pace may be asked to leave the course. Thank you for helping us provide a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone!
