Join the Pineland Striders for our annual Independence Day Races! The Pineland Striders are proud to welcome runners to Medford, NJ for the 46th year! Join us in celebrating Independence Day with some sweaty summer miles!
The event features a 10K, 5K, and FREE Kids' Fun Run. The first 300 participants to register for the USATF-sanctioned, chip-timed 10K and 5K will receive a waterproof, wireless Bluetooth speaker!
Both the 10K and 5K courses are fast and flat. On-course hydration will be available. Strollers are allowed on both the 10K and 5K races. Sorry, pet-lovers, but dogs are not allowed in the race. With a two-hour cutoff, all paces are welcome!
Due to construction at Shawnee High School, neither race will finish on the track as is the tradition. The 5K route is essentially the same as always, but the 10K route is a bit different than past years. 10K runners will no longer run across the practice fields approaching the finish--this year's route will be entirely on the road, so if you're looking for a PR, this might be your year!

Pre-registration closes on Wednesday, June 25. Race day registration will be available ($55 for the 10K, $45 for the 5K)!
We are excited to continue last year's new Team Challenge this year! When you sign up, feel free to create or join a team. All teams with five or more members will have their times entered into the Team Challenge. Each team's three fastest times will be combined, and the team with the fastest overall time will win the challenge! Awards will also be given out to the largest team and to the most spirited team. How your team shows off its spirit is up to you! Let's see you flex those creative muscles (but don't flex too hard--remember you have a race to run!).
