Get ready for an exciting day of community spirit and athleticism at the 3rd Annual Pioneer Run, hosted by Peace Racing, on Saturday, June 14, 2025! Taking place at Brook Park, Cuyahoga, this vibrant event kicks off at the 112th Engineer Battalion armory and winds through the charming streets of Brook Park, culminating at the Brook Park amphitheater. Participants can choose to compete in the 5K race starting at 10:00 AM or let the little ones join in on the fun with the Kids Run at 9:30 AM, which loops around Safety Village.
The Pioneer Run is not only a fantastic opportunity for runners of all ages to showcase their skills, but it’s also a free event designed to bring the community together. Children participating in the Kids Run will receive a commemorative t-shirt, while the top three male and female finishers in the 5K will be recognized during the awards ceremony at 11:00 AM. After the race, stick around for Brook Park's annual Picnic in the Park, filled with food, games, and live music from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Don’t miss out on this wonderful celebration of health

Organiser's Description
The Ohio Army National Guard (OHARNG) and City of Brook Park invite you to the 3rd Annual Pioneer Run. Starting at the 112th Engineer Battalion armory you will run through the streets of Brook Park and finish at the Brook Park amphitheater. This event is free of charge. The city of Brook Park and the OHARNG welcomes the community to participate in this fun filled event. There will be inflatables and games for kids. Our youth runners will also receive a commemorative t-shirt. The event will be followed by the city of Brook Park hosting the annual Picnic in the Park from 11:00-3:00pm. Please join us for the run, food, games and music! Thank you to the 112th Engineer Battalion Officers Association, The American Legion Post 610 and MARCs for sponsoring this amazing event.
