THE 1ST ANNUAL PISGAH HIGH SCHOOL 5K COMMUNITY RACE CAN BE CHARACTERIZED AS A FAIRLY EASY TRAIL RUN. ITS MOSTLY ON GRASS, WITH SOME GRAVEL, AND A VERY SHORT PAVED SECTION. ITS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE SOME EASY OFF ROAD RUNNING A TRY WITHOUT LOTS OF DIFFICULT TERRAIN. THE SURROUNDING HILL AND COUNTRYSIDE WILL BE THE BACKDROP, MAKING A PICTURESQUE AUTUMN RUN ON MOSTLY LEVEL TURF FOR THIS AREA. THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL ABILITIES AND PROCEEDS BENEFIT PISGAH HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY. DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR YOURSELF AND FOR HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES!
