Join the PNW Walking Group for the inspiring Race 2 Save Veteran Lives, set to take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in Auburn, Washington! Participants will gather at Roegner Park, located at 601 Oravetz Rd SE, for a scenic 5K walk along the picturesque White River, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Whether you're a seasoned walker or just looking to enjoy a day out with friends and family, this event welcomes everyone! The walk will run from 11 AM to 3 PM, and participants can choose to walk at their own pace. For those who can't attend in person, virtual supporter opportunities are available to help raise funds from anywhere in the world. Together, let's make a difference in the lives of our service members and their familiesโ€”because no one can do everything, but everyone can do something! WELCOME TO PNW WALKING GROUP - RACE 2 SAVE VETERAN LIVES

Help support Pacific Northwest Walking Group upcoming #AuburnWACommunity charity event to help save lives of our Veterans.

PNW Walking Group is a partner of Race 2 Save Veteran Lives [https://Race2SaveVets.org] (R2SVL), which is a program of the National Alliance To End Veteran Suicide [https://na2evs.org] (NA2EVS). Learn more by clicking links for each.

PROPOSED DATE OF WALK EVENT IN AUBURN WA IS ON A SATURDAY THIS SUMMER (LIKE 9/21/24) FROM 11-3PM.
ONCE WE HAVE CONFIRMED THE WALK DATE WE WILL ADD A BUNCH OF EVENTS, SEE LIST BELOW.

We meet at the parking lot and start at 8:15am sharp. Rain or Shine!
Our walk is typically around 2 hours, wALK AT YOUR OWN PACE, ALL ARE WELCOME, BRING YOUR FRIENDS.

* Virtual Supporter
Cost: $0 per person.
Can't make it to Auburn WA, help us to raise funds from wherever you are in the world. Donations accepted up to 12/31/24.
You may add the event t-shirt during your registration. (T-shirt Coming Soon).
You walk from where you are, and upon completion submit your Results and Photos and download your Digital Completion Certificate.

The following will be added as we secure the date for the in person walk event.

Cost: $0 per Active Duty or Veteran. Must show DD214 or ID at event!
You will walk with us in Auburn at our event, for FREE!
You may add the event t-shirt during your registration.
Upon completion submit your Results and Photos and can download your Digital Completion Certificate.

* Walk With Us
Cost: $25 per person.
Age 12 and under are FREE. Everyone must register to sign Waiver!
You may add the event t-shirt during your registration.
You receive an amazing experience and upon completion submit your Results and Photos and can download your Digital Completion Certificate.

* Nonprofit Vendor
Cost: $100 per nonprofit organization.
Nonprofits are encouraged to set up a booth/table at the event.
You are provided 1 social media graphic showing Race2SaveVets co-branding with your brand.
You may add the event t-shirt during your registration.
Must register by May 1st at 5pm.

* Event Sponsor
Cost: $200 per for profit sponsor.
You are provided a prime location booth/table at the event.
We set up a call to create your sponsorship package level.
Based on sponsorship level you will get 1-several social media graphics showing Race2SaveVets co-branding with your brand.
You may add the event t-shirt during your registration.
Must register by May 1st at 5pm.

YOUR NEXT STEP:

Register you and your family. If others in your community want to join you, we request you create a Team Fundraiser. We will have awards for the highest fundraising teams and individuals. Individual Fundraisers roll up into the Team Fundraiser. Upon completion of setting up your Individual Fundraiser, the site will prompt to 'Create A Facebook Fundraiser', which makes it so easy and effective.

Q: what is the length of this walk?
A: It is about a 5K, however the length and intensity is not required, it is up to you.

Q: where does this walk take place?
A: It starts at the Roegner Park in Auburn. It heads along the White River (a glacial river from Mt Rainier).

Q: what can I do if I cannot be there in person?
A: We recommend you become a Virtual Supporter to help us raise funds and you will have some fun doing it. The other choice is to Donate.

Walk 5 K = 3.1 miles or 10K = 6.2 miles. After submitting your Results you can download your Digital Completion Certificate and submit Photos.
