Organiser's Description
Our 3rd annual, fun, local, hometown 5k race to help Raise the Bar for all Springport running athletes. This event will be run entirely in the town of Springport around a 2 lap road and trail course there will be ample opportunities for spectators to cheer on all the athletes.
** LOCATION CHANGE THIS YEAR. We will start and finish at the Springport Bible Church this year. This change will help make less foot traffic on sidewalk on M-99 in front of the tavern and hopefully give us some more room. Our event is GROWING!!!
T-shirt included with run, as well as some finish line giveaways!
Please park at the school, VFW hall, or Springport Church. We need to keep the roads clear for runners!
There will be a timing clock but it will NOT be a chip timed event. This is about getting together having fun challenging each other to simply raise their own personal bar. Push their own limits! This is the perfect first race or perfect small race you will enjoy coming back to.
Our Track team will benefit greatly from the funds we raise at this event. Last year we were able to buy some new poles and other track equipment as well as getting a much needed cover for our High Jump pads. The school came through and got some new Pole Vault pads and timing equipment as well! So lets keep this ball rolling and Raise the Bar a little more! We wont stop either...just keep raising it up for the success of our student athletes!
