Organiser's Description
The Reservoir Dogs Trail Race is the first trail-running event allowed to completely circumnavigate the Briones Reservoir on the sereneand usually permit-onlyEast Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) trails.Most trail runs are inherently beautiful, but this course offers more rolling open fire roads and boasts a nice progression of quintessentially East Bay environments, along with tree covered single-track and sweeping views of the watershed lands. Briones Reservoir is also one of the few EBMUD properties that has a substantial length of single-track trail. The 10K, Half Marathon and 35K courses are faster than other Inside Trail races because they have less elevation but they are consistent in a design intended to push each runner.
The Start and Finish for all races will be in the San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area, which has a plethora of outdoor activities for all ages, including: hiking, fishing, kayaking/canoeing and picnicking.
