The Riverside Coffee 5K aims to raise funds for essential vocational and social skills programs for individuals aged 21 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Awards will be handed out at 10:00 AM for the top male and female finishers, adding to the festive atmosphere. Whether you are taking a sip of your favorite coffee or steps to running or walking this race every ounce goes to creating a fulfilling future full of possibilities!
Riverside Coffee is more than a coffee shop, we are a dual enlistment facility focused on educating and supporting 21+ aged individuals with intellectual and social disabilities invaluable Life, Vocational and Social skills. These essential components are needed for earning and maintaining positions of employment when integrating individuals from students to working adults. Riverside is a 501c-3 ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) organization and is hosting this inaugural foot race to fundraise for our annual operational budget after learning government funding would cease after 2025.
PARKING
Parking will be available from Two Rivers Church lot on the back side of the coffee shop, no parking is available at the coffee shop during this event. Please enter the Church from Hwy 70, entry/ exit from Harrison Ln will not be permitted race morning to avoid vehicle traffic interfering with runners on the course.
PACKET PICK UP
Pick up will be day of event only from 7:15-8:45am. T-shirts and other giveaways will be available to all participants along with their respective race Bib. Pick up will be at the coffee shop near start/ finish. Restrooms will be available in the coffee shop.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course will start from the Coffee shop on Harrison Lane and will out a quarter mile towards Bob Leonard Park Where runners will run 3 loops around the outer sidewalk perimeter of the park's path. Course will be 100% paved utilizing asphalt and sidewalk surfaces. after the third lap, runners will return to the coffee shop to finish!
POST RACE CELEBRATION!
After the race hang around to visit with local vendors and grab a warm drink inside as the festivities continue. We will be awarding the top 3 males and femals over all form the coffee shop, keep your ears open for raffle giveaways as well!
AWARDS
Awards will be given to top Male & Females in 5K event. Awards will be awarded from the coffee shop after the race at 10:00am.

As a trusted vocational rehab vendor, we pour our hearts into helping our learners aim high without letting challenges hold them back. We mix in a little ABA for a perfect blend of care and effectiveness. Whether our students are wanting to kickstart a career or visitors want to enjoy a cozy cup, your presence supports a mission bigger than us all. At Riverside, every drip and bean is a step toward someone's dream.
