The course will start at the Riverside Coffee shop on Harrison Lane and feature three loops around the picturesque Bob Leonard Park, ensuring a scenic and enjoyable experience for everyone.
The Riverside Coffee 5K is not just about running; it's about creating opportunities for individuals aged 21 and over with intellectual and social disabilities. Proceeds from the race will directly fund Riverside's vital programs, helping participants build essential life and vocational skills. After crossing the finish line, stick around for a festive post-race celebration featuring local vendors, warm drinks, and exciting raffle giveaways. Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers, as well as to age group winners. Whether youβre a passionate runner or simply want to support this incredible mission, your participation will make a difference. Whether you are taking a sip of your favorite coffee or steps to running or walking this race every ounce goes to creating a fulfilling future full of possibilities!
Riverside Coffee is more than a coffee shop, they are a dual enlistment facility focused on educating and supporting 21+ aged individuals with intellectual and social disabilities invaluable Life, Vocational and Social skills. These essential components are needed for earning and maintaining positions of employment when integrating individuals from students to working adults. Riverside is a 501c-3 ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) organization and is hosting this inaugural foot race to fundraise for their annual operational budget after learning their government funding would cease after 2025.
PARKING
Parking will be available from <CHURCH>
See map for specific parking, attendants will assist in directing traffic to available lots (see map for specific details).
PACKET PICK UP
Pick up will be day of event only ending 30 minutes before the race is set to start. T-shirts and other giveaways will be available to all participants along with their respective race Bib. Pick up will be at the Shelter (see map for specific details) near start/ finish & Restrooms.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course will start from the Coffee shop on Harrison Lane and will out a quarter mile towards Bob Leonard Park Where runners will run 3 loops, one clockwise around outer perimeter path, one counterclockwise around inner path, and clockwise again around the outer path before returning back to the coffee shop to finish. Course will be 100% paved utilizing asphalt and sidewalk surfaces. <COURSE MAP COMING SOON>
POST RACE CELEBRATION!
After the race hang around to visit with local vendors and grab a warm drink inside as the festivities continue. Keep your ears open for raffle giveaways as well!
AWARDS
Awards will be given to top Male & Females in 5K event. Age Group winners will be awarded to top runner per Category:
20 & Under, 20-39, 40-59, 60+). Awards will be awarded after 75% of field has completed the event.

Riverside's unique two-year program is designed for folks ready needing to build essential job skills in a space where support is our main focus.
As a trusted vocational rehab vendor, we pour our hearts into helping our learners aim high without letting challenges hold them back. We mix in a little ABA for a perfect blend of care and effectiveness. Whether our students are wanting to kickstart a career or visitors want to enjoy a cozy cup, your presence supports a mission bigger than us all. At Riverside, every drip and bean is a step toward someone's dream.
