The ride kicks off at the Vestaburg Church of Christ, where participants will pedal along the scenic Fred Meijer Heartland Trail to the McBride Church of Christ and back.
Cyclists are encouraged to fundraise, so gather your friends and family, print a pledge sheet from rlca.org, and start collecting donations! The cyclist who raises the most in pledges will win an incredible prize: a certificate for a kid's bike from Terry's Cycle! Join us for a fantastic day of biking, community spirit, and the joy of helping kids experience the magic of camp. We are excited to announce the return of the RLCA Bike-A-Thon on 5/23/2026! All proceeds will go into the RLCA Camper Scholarship Fund to assist families in sending their students to a session of camp.
Starting near the camp at the Vestaburg Church of Christ, cyclists will then join the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail, biking to the McBride Church of Christ and then back to Vestaburg Church of Christ.
This is a fundraising event and as such, fundraising is encouraged! Go to rlca.org and print up the pledge sheet. Ask your family and friends to make a pledge. And now for the big news...

- Participants will be asked to turn around at 10am if they have not yet reached McBride. There will be snack stations and first aid along the route in addition to SAG vehicles if help is needed in returning to RLCA. - Helmets are required. - Children under 12 must be accompanied by someone at least 16 years old. - Those registering by 5/12 will receive a free shirt! - Visit rlca.org for paper registration and pledge sheets. -

T-shirts must be ordered by 5/12. Shirts will be mailed after Memorial Day. If you would prefer to pick your shirt up at the camp office, let us know at info@rlca.org. They will be available starting 5/25. You may also contact the camp office at info@rlca.org to order shirts, prior to 5/12.
