New this year, the event will feature dedicated sections for Middle School participants (ages 8-14) and High School competitors (ages 15-18), ensuring that young athletes have a platform to showcase their talents.
With race heats scheduled throughout the morning, including awards for various categories such as non-binary, masters, and open competitors, the Rose City Mile promotes a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all. Online registration is open until June 19, 2025, with same-day registration available for those who decide to join the fun at the last minute. [Rose City Track club, spelled in a circle wrapped around a Rose]Rose City Track Club is proud to present the 8th annual Rose City Mile! Our mission is to provide a fun and accessible opportunity for runners of all ages and abilities to test their fitness in the mile on Saturday, June 21, 2024.
_NEW THIS YEAR!_ We are offering a Middle School (ages 814) and High School (ages 1518) sections, with sign up through Athletic.net [https://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/meet/565868/register]. The registration fee for the Middle School and High School sections is $16.80 (incl. $1.80 transaction fee).
We believe that everyone has a place in the running community that is respectful, safe, and inclusive. On race day we present awards in men's, women's, and non-binary categories. Participants who select either "Non-Binary" or "Prefer Not to Say" during sign up will be eligible for the non-binary awards category.

RUNNERS WILL HAVE THE OPTION OF REGISTERING FOR THE ROSE CITY MILE THE DAY OF THE RACE FOR $38.50 (INC. $3.50 FEE). SAME DAY REGISTRATION CLOSES 50 MINUTES BEFORE THE FIRST HEAT IN EACH SECTION.

Runners will be seeded based on the age, gender, and estimated finishing time provided upon registration. Heats in each category are progressively faster. All four relay members will be required to sign a waiver or present a signed waiver to participate. No refunds will be given for incomplete teams. -
