Join us for Roseanna’s Run on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, in the charming town of Winterset, Madison! This inspiring annual event features a 5K run and a 1-mile walk/run, bringing together the community to celebrate the life of Roseanna Otto, a devoted mother and beloved friend. Tragically taken from us in 2019, Roseanna's spirit lives on through this event, which raises vital awareness about domestic violence. Participants can enjoy a day filled with camaraderie and purpose, knowing that a portion of the proceeds will support the Crisis Intervention & Advocacy Center in Madison County, while also contributing to her daughters' college savings fund. Come together to honor Roseanna’s legacy and make a positive impact in the community!
Organiser's Description
Roseanna Otto was a devoted mother to three beautiful little girls and a cherished sister, daughter, and friend. Known for her love, generosity, and nurturing spirit, she was tragically taken from us by her abusive ex-boyfriend on May 27, 2019, in Winterset, Iowa. This annual 5K or 1 mile walk/run honors Roseannas memory and aims to raise awareness about domestic violence. A portion of the proceeds will support the Crisis Intervention & Advocacy Center in Madison County, Iowa, while the remainder will go towards her daughters' college savings fund.
