Participants can race for glory with trophies awarded to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as top finishers in each age group ranging from 14 and under to 80 and up.
With a total prize purse of $1,150 for the top five male and female finishers, including $500 for first place, this race is not just about fun; it's about competition too! Early packet pickup will take place at Fleet Feet in Winston-Salem on July 3 from 4 to 6 PM, and on race day at Pinnacle Financial Partners starting at 6:30 AM. Organiser's Description
The 31th annual Rotary Club of Kernersville 4th of July 5K will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 8:00 AM. We average over 400 runners each year. Trophies will be presented to the top 3 male/female overall finishers. We also present trophies to the top 3 male/female finishers in each age group. Age groups are 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and up. All current safety guidelines at the time of the race will be followed.
We also have prize money available to top 5 M/F finishers. $500, $300, $200, $100 & $50. Contact cswisher@triad.rr.com for elite entry info.
