Participants have the chance to compete for trophies awarded to the top three male and female overall finishers, as well as top finishers in various age groups ranging from 14 and under to 80 and up. With exciting prize money available for the top five male and female finishers, including awards of $500, $300, $200, $100, and $50, there's plenty of motivation to push your limits! Early packet pickup is conveniently available at Fleet Feet in Winston-Salem on July 3, and race day registration starts at 6:30 AM. Organiser's Description
The 31th annual Rotary Club of Kernersville 4th of July 5K will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 8:00 AM. We average over 400 runners each year. Trophies will be presented to the top 3 male/female overall finishers. We also present trophies to the top 3 male/female finishers in each age group. Age groups are 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and up. All current safety guidelines at the time of the race will be followed.
We also have prize money available to top 5 M/F finishers. $500, $300, $200, $100 & $50. Contact cswisher@triad.rr.com for elite entry info.
