Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a casual runner, this 5K is the perfect way to celebrate Independence Day while enjoying the spirited community atmosphere.
Participants will compete for exciting trophies, awarded to the top three male and female overall finishers, as well as the top three finishers in various age groups ranging from 14 and under to 80 and up. With prize money available for the top five male and female finishers, runners have even more motivation to give it their all! Don't miss your chance to be part of this vibrant celebration—early packet pickup will be available at Fleet Feet in High Point from 4 to 6 PM on Thursday, July 3, and at Pinnacle Financial Partners on race day starting at 6:30 AM. Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a fantastic day of fitness and fun!

The 30th annual Rotary Club of Kernersville 4th of July 5K will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025 at 8:00 AM. We average over 400 runners each year. Trophies will be presented to the top 3 male/female overall finishers. We also present trophies to the top 3 male/female finishers in each age group. Age groups are 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and up. All current safety guidelines at the time of the race will be followed.
We also have prize money available to top 5 M/F finishers. $500, $300, $200, $100 & $50. Contact [email protected] for elite entry info.
