Join us on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 for the Rotary District 6970 Ride to End Polio in Edgewater, Volusia. This non-competitive social ride is a fantastic opportunity to bike with fellow Rotarians and guests while supporting a great cause. Choose from a 6-mile ride to the SR-442 bridge and back, a 20-mile ride to Maytown Rd in Oak Hill and back, or challenge yourself with a 30-mile ride to Osteen-Maytown Rd and back. No matter the route you choose, you'll be helping to raise funds to eradicate Polio worldwide through the Rotary International Foundation. Hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Southeast Volusia-Golf, New Smyrna Beach, and Edgewater, this event takes place on the scenic East Central Regional Rail Trail, offering a smooth asphalt base and minimal road crossings. After the ride, enjoy an after-party with food provided by the Edgewater Rotarians, and don't forget to pick up a commemorative rider's cap. Plus, funds raised will be matched 2 for 1 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Don't miss out on this chance to make a difference while enjoying a beautiful day of cycling!

A non-competitive social ride with fellow Rotarian's and guests. Register now for the Rotary "District 6970 (Florida USA) Ride to End Polio" Life's Journey is to Enjoy Every Day to its Fullest. Bike to the SR-442 bridge and back for a 6 mile ride. Bike to Maytown Rd in Oak Hill and back for a 20 mile ride, or challenge for a 30 mile ride to Osteen-Maytown Rd and back. Any route you chose, raises funds to eradicate Polio Worldwide through the Rotary International Foundation.
The Rotary Clubs of Southeast Volusia-Golf, New Smyrna Beach, and Edgewater will be hosting this cycling ride along the beautiful, tree lined, East Central Regional Rail Trail. The trail runs North to South, and has a smooth asphalt base with minimal road crossings.
Chose your speed and distance, enjoy the natural beauty of the area and enjoy the after party, with food provided by the Edgewater Rotarian's. Commemorative riders caps will be available.
