Thank you to all our faithful followers, sponsors and supporters. The Run for Bob 5k committee has made the tough decision to make 2026 our final event. We hope everyone can join us March 1st, 2026 for our last event.
We are a Non-Profit (c)(3) organization. All proceeds from the race go towards scholarships for Tuscarawas County High school seniors, and to the Alpha-1 foundation.
We run in Memory of Robert Bob Smith. He passed away from health issues on May 10th, 2019. Bob was a huge inspiration to everyone he met. He was very active in the local running community. At the age of 77, he participated in countless races. The man always had a smile on his face and words of encouragement to any and everyone. He never met a stranger. He simply made the world a better place. In loving memory of him, we hold this event the first Sunday in March each year.
