Event summary
Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Run For Edgarton 5k, taking place in the charming setting of Newfield, Gloucester on Saturday, October 17, 2026! This exciting event is all about supporting Edgarton Christian Academy, a dedicated elementary school that focuses on providing a safe and enriching environment for children from Pre-K through 8th grade. The scenic 5k route winds through the peaceful streets surrounding the school, making it a perfect opportunity for both seasoned runners and families alike to come together for a good cause.
While the race has been postponed until Spring 2027 with a new date to be announced, the anticipation is building to join in a fun-filled day where all proceeds go directly to benefit the academy. Participants will not only receive a stylish race shirt—guaranteed if registered by September 29—but also a coveted finisher medal! Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female participants, as well as the top three in each 10-year age group. Check-in starts at 7:30 AM, and we encourage everyone to park on the Madison Ave side of the school. If you can’t make it to the race but still want to show your support,
