Gather at 9:50 AM for warm-up exercises and don your layers—it's bound to be chilly! If you have a Ukrainian flag, please bring it to show your solidarity. After the run, join us at Gregorys Coffee for some warming drinks and camaraderie. While participation is free, your generous donations during registration will make a significant difference in supporting this noble cause. Join us in a noble cause as we lace up our running shoes for the "Run for the Ukrainian Heroes who are still remain in russian captivity" run. This run is dedicated to supporting the Azov Brigade, a group of brave Ukrainian defenders who have been at the forefront of defending their homeland Ukraine.
To show our appreciation and solidarity, we have organized this run with a mission to provide much-needed assistance to both the Azov Brigade defenders and their families. We also run for all Ukrainian prisoners of war, advocating for the release of everyone, including the brave heroes of the Azov Brigade who are STILL HELD by russia.
HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
1) Participate: Register for the run and be a part of this meaningful event. Your donations during the registration will directly benefit the cause.
2) Fundraise: Encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to support the run too. Every contribution, big or small, will make a significant impact.
MEET: we're GATHERING AT 9:50AM Inside the Exchange Place station (near the exit to Jersey City (J.Owen Grundy pier): https://maps.app.goo.gl/twapuxvRbSng9dre8
Inside the station we will do some warm up exercises to be prepared for the run. Please wear couple of layers, gloves, hat etc. - it might be chilly. IF YOU HAVE UKRAINIAN FLAG, PLEASE BRING IT TO THE RUN.
START: From the Exchange Place pier (J.Owen Grundy) at 10AM.
ROUTE: 5K or any comfortable distance towards Newport, with a turn near Newport Green park. After the finish, everyone who wish can join for warming drinks at Gregorys Coffee to chat with each other.
The participation is free, but you are more than welcome to donate any amount you are comfortable with. Every dollar counts when it comes to support.
