Join us for a delightful morning that begins with a pre-race warm-up courtesy of the YMCA to get everyone energized. The course features a simple out-and-back route around a tree, with direction adjustments based on beach conditions. After the race, celebrate your achievements at the awards ceremony at the Sandbar Amelia Island, where complimentary coffee and hot chocolate will be served. Breakfast sandwiches will also be available for purchase from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and Santa will be on-site for some festive photo opportunities! Join us for another year of family fun at "Run Like the Dickens!" This one-mile fun run will be held at Main Beach, Amelia Island on Saturday, December 13, 2025, starting at 8:30AM. Check-in and onsite registration opens at 7:30am. Please meet at the Sandbar and look for the registration table.
Come early for the pre-race warm up, courtesy of the YMCA. It'll get you fired up for the fun! The course will be a simple out, round the tree, and back beach run, direction may change based on conditions. Please note that this is not a chipped race.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Sandbar Amelia Island directly following the race. The Sandbar is opening early to offer complementary coffee & hot chocolate. Breakfast sandwiches will be available for purchase from 8:00am - 9:00am. Santa will also be onsite for photo ops!
Register online through Friday, November 21st until 5:00PM to receive an official Run Like the Dickens t-shirt. If you register after 11/21 or onsite, we will do our best to have a t-shirt mailed to you or available for pick-up at the Welcome Center. This year, we will have youth sized shirts as an option.
